Web Design, Development, and UX/UI Internship at Come On Out - English/eTEFL

Goal: We are looking for interns this year during the winter semester, 2022. We have a wide range of projects to work on so individuals will need to be able to work remotely, and be self-starters on expansion projects.  Interns will work directly with Come on Out staff to design the best web design, web development, or user experience design internship for your educational and personal goals.

Duration: Flexible, 8-12 weeks, beginning mid-January.

Hours: 5-10/week

Type of Internship: Unpaid, work related transportation/expenses provided. We are more than happy to work with you and/or your university to get the internship approved for your degree.

Available Internship Focus: We have a lot of work to do and many projects to choose from and the ability to use your own creativity in designing a project. We are searching for interns to help with various projects in the fields of web design and development, and user experience design for Come On Out English and Come On Out eTEFL. Interns will help improve the visual appeal and usability of our websites, and help us to implement new and complex systems to allow our users to have a straightforward learning and purchasing experience. Previous interns have designed new web pages, evaluated the user experience of existing pages, implemented new plugins and systems, integrated various other platforms with our website (Calendly, Zoom, etc.), used HTML/CSS to improve the fluidity of our website, and much more!

Requirements:

Individuals need to be self-starters, highly motivated, and be able to work with several different projects at the same time remotely. We prefer interns with a background in web design, web development, UX/UI/HCI, communications, or graphic design, but all applicants will be considered. Experience with Wordpress as a content management system, as well as the proficiency to research and learn complicated processes independently to solve unique problems is a huge plus.
