Program Operation (in brief)
Each weekend, we had roughly 700 Japanese Students, 150 coaches (interns), 20 homeroom leaders (returning interns) and 20 staff (from Come On Out, Toshin and Come On UP) across 10 Zoom Homerooms. Within these homerooms were 12 - 15 groups, consisting of 1 coach and 5 - 7 Japanese students, that split into their own breakout rooms for discussion, speaking exercises, games/icebreakers and more! For program communication amongst coaches, leaders and staff, we utilized Discord. We are happy to say it was an incredible success and both coaches and students enjoyed an impactful experience. Program Schedule (in brief)
For the program curriculum, we took our 5-day program and condensed it into a 3-day weekend program experience (with options for both Standard and Advanced courses). Please see below for our program times, as well as pictures below of our schedule outlines. We commend our enthusiastic, talented and dedicated interns around the world for adapting to the JST time zones and staying up all night to impact Japanese students!
Day 1 - Friday, 6 - 9 PM JST
Day 2 - Saturday, 10 AM - 6 PM JST
Day 3 - Sunday, 10 AM - 6 PM JST
